It all started when…

At about 18 years old, our MD Jason began labouring. Starting at the bottom of the ladder enabled him to gain extensive experience in all types of groundwork and landscaping. Over the years he found he had an affinity for woodworking and developed increasingly advanced carpentry skills by working on challenging projects with experts who had experience in a great variety of areas of specialisation. After 17 years as a ‘chippy’ (professional carpenter) Jason has developed a skillset that lends itself to bespoke and challenging projects. In fact Jason relishes the opportunity to show off his ‘chops’ on builds with unique requirements.

Jason has been designing and building decking projects for well over a decade now and has some impressive projects under his belt including all-gold award-winning exhibition stands at exhibitions and shows such as The London and Southampton Boat Shows, the Ideal Home Exhibition, This Morning Live, Grand Designs Live and The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Show at Hampton Court.

“Having had the pleasure of working with Jason for the last 5 years, I am extremely confident in recommending Jason’s services. Jason goes over and above on every job he works on. He is enthusiastic, trustworthy, hardworking, and brilliant at what he does!” - Megan Hill, Walsham Chalet Park Limited

“I have used Jason’s services through alternative companies I have worked with over a period of 7 years. I have always found his workmanship to be top class. Jason’s work ethic is faultless and he has always conducted himself professionally and always remains courteous with differing customers. He is trustworthy, efficient and punctual and has always gone “The extra mile” when carrying out works. I would thoroughly recommend Jason’s services without any hesitation” - Wayne Grant, Operations Director, The Dream Lodge Group

In January 2019 Jason set-up Peak Decking to provide a more personalised service designing and installing commercial and residential bespoke decking and timber-frame building projects across the south west and nationwide.
